And faking a kidnapping isn’t helping his case, it’s only perpetuating the misunderstanding.

You know how when you kidnap someone and give them a piggy back ride… funny.
I think all the stuff in the real world was operating outside the 13, so it seems fine to me that they don’t know what’s going on, but Soi Fon is not winning herself any points with me by being such a… what Ichigo said. Again, her zanpakuto is cool (what does her Bankai look like? almost as curious about hers as Kisuke’s), but between her and her vice captain, squad 2 is my least favorite.
And that would be cool, they can welcome the vizard (don’t think they ever would though) and Ichigo can be captain of the vizard squad. Nel might be able to be his vice captain, but she’s Arrancar, which would be less accepted than vizard, so I doubt it.
And I still vote Rukia and Renji. I guess Orihime and Ichigo, but… that’s based on story alone. Uryuu should get someone new (I thought he would get Yoshino, but turns-out she looks like his mother, and Ran’Tao (hmmn…), oh and she kinda died). Chad will end up alone.

It’s like watching an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where the solution is so annoyingly obvious yet nobody sees it. And the head Captain guy sure is an idiot he’ll believe anything. Just like when Aizen tricked him. If this keeps up I won’t be watching it anymore.
