ikkaku does not want to use his banki because…he wants to beat kenpachi…and he cant learn how to beat or win against kenpachi if he is the same rank…only if he under him…just like renji with kuckik…remmeber when renji asked ikkaku to teach him to fight? then when ikkaku taugh him enough he told him to learn the rest on his own then some more stuff happend that i cant remmeber and renji asked him to become the captian of one of the missing squads and ikkaku said he couldnt because he wanted to beat kenpachi! because also the eps when ikkaku was fighting the first arrancar he had a flash back about fighting kenpachi then he heard that kenpachi joing the 13 court guards so he joind to under him..remmeber (sorry i know i didnt spell all the names right)

When that Poww guy was on his knees, I was saying to myself “Finish him!” Komamura sure kicks a lotta ass. So awesome…
I would’ve never thought that Iba would give such deep advice. I always passed him as more of the easy going crowd. I think he’s right. Ikkaku should swallow his pride.
