Kenpachi’s Zanpactou is probably angry at his neglect, thus causing the revolution.
More evidence based on the name “Muramasa” and its relevance to being a powerful sword.
“It has also been told that once drawn, a Muramasa blade has to draw blood before it can be returned to its scabbard, even to the point of forcing its wielder to wound himself or commit suicide.[3] Thus, it is thought of as a demonic cursed blade that creates bloodlust in those who wield it.”

Ha, ha. I like your comment “Name not found.” And if I didn’t KNOW these were fillers, I wouldn’t have thought they were (other than the fact they are a disruption from the normal arc).
Could be Kenpachi’s (that’s what seems most obvious and I’ve been figuring). Don’t forget, Kenpachi has never sealed his zanpakuto (it’s too powerful) so it’s like always “shikai.” Don’t know what it looks like in any other forms. Besides, zanpakuto must be from someone, right?
I guess they do die when their shinigami does (I thought they were more like a source of power that changed to match the shinigami, rather than so directly tied to them, but the Intro says otherwise). Who is that wild-looking “woman” (I think she has boobs but she’s not real attractive) with the kid on a leash? It looks like it turns into Zabimaru (when compacted but in its shikai) at the end? She is shown a couple times at the end. Did I just forget a sword that looks kind of like that?
I do notice that Sode no Shiryuki (sp?) retreated in the real world (in addition to no other zanpakuto are rebelling there). I guess this means Vizards and Arrancar still have their zanpakuto under control, just not shinigami in Soul Society? This was foreshadowed by Zangetsu (the Hollow one) when he said the “difference between the king and horse” speech (odd, ’cause that was Tite Kubo, and this is not but still foreshadowing).
Also, my comments have not been posting lately. Don’t know why (not logged-in, used “Enter” instead of “submit comment”). But hopefully it works when I point it out (so that I look like a liar). Hey, at least my comment will show-up that way.

they have to know their names before anything can be achieved ( i.e shikai and bankai) unless they’re spiritual energy is exceptional( Zaraki and Ichigo)
They kind of made a mistake with ichigo… his sword is in shikai, yet when zangetsu comes out he is still in hikai. It should be his big sword in the first few eps of bleach
this season is awesome
At first I was like ” ah Kenpachi is gonna come and dooki all over them. ” and then thought that it could be Kenpachi’s sword. But you also have to remember that the sword is a reflection of the Shinigami.. so its much more likely that Kenpachi’s zanpaktou wouldnt have all the fancy powers.
Would be sicknasty though if it was Kenpachis.. but its just gonna be some rng with Aizen or some rng shinigami like when they had the filler with the new squad captains.
i think rukia might have feeling for ichigo it just that she can’t show them like orihime can i mean who know rukia feeling better then she do and the person who made the cartoon
My opinion is that this zanpakto is not kenpachis! (Also i saw that someone believes that kenpaci has his sword in shinkai, but i believe that it is not, its just its shape which is strange.). I dont know from where muramasa came but i strongly believe its not kenpachis. He is the only one who is capable of fighting those zanpaktos, except ichigo of cource!!!. Anyways, i may be wrong, only time will show! I just hope they are gona show us something new, for example 1st squad captains bankai, but i dount it!!!!!!

I bet Muramasa is Yoruichi’s Zanpakuto…similar eyes, long (cat-like?) fingernails, she doesn’t carry one, etc. Zaraki’s Zanpakuto, like Zaraki himself, probably isn’t one for noble causes like freeing the slaves! When it arrives, it’ll most likely take whichever side will let it F the most stuff up.

And it sort-of makes sense that Ichigo’s would go below shikai when Zangetsu leaves BUT that other sword was RUKIA’s soul reaper power, not his. Oh. I guess it didn’t look like either of their actual zanpakuto. That’s interesting…

It doesn’t make sense if Zangetsu is Ichigo’s inner hollow he’s already mastered his inner hollow. And isn’t this like the Ban Kai training. Call me crazy.

okay, first of all, Zaraki’s Zanpakuto is in it’s original form, it just looks that way because he uses it roughly and it is damaged.
Second, Murasame isn’t Zaraki’s. if you’ve noticed, everyone whose Zanpakuto that has turned against them has at least had Shikai. Zaraki does not have Shikai, and since the abilities reflect the owner, Zaraki’s woudn’t have Kidou abilities.
Third, ichigo will be fine. he can hollowfy and use his hollow powers to defeat the other Zanpakuto’s without needing the use of Zangetsu (though it would be helpful)
it also can’t be Yorouichi’s because even if she didn’t carry her’s, what reason would it have for killing the shinigami? i think that this is just another remnant species (like the bounts) that for some reason wants to kill the shinigami because of something bad soul society did (again)
i also think that the Zanpakuto’s don’t have a choice (except for the one with the scythes, i forgot the owner’s name)
in the end Zaraki wil probably defeat Murasame with his shikai that he will have obtained just before the fight, or ichigo will create a stronger bond with Zangetsu and easily win in the end
