Cool episode. Good twist (not great, but good). I’m still interested in the cloaked zanpakuto but I like seeing 8th and 13th captains and their zanpakuto. And Yoruichi is one of my favorites too. (And Ichigo, of course.)
Did Unohana’s zanpakuto rebel or did Muramasa think it wasn’t worth it? Just wondering…

Just read (comments to my comment last week) about the hooded one being Unohana’s… not sure how that was determined (maybe I just missed the name being mentioned or something but kudos if something more clever was involved) but it makes SO much sense (that’s NOT sarcastic). My theory concluded that it was the three most powerful that were uh… “guarding” Yama… so it being 8th, 13th and 4TH, makes equal sense to being 8th, 13th and 11TH so that fits fine. Additionally… no fighting. It basically just guided Ichigo… considering almost all of its abilities are healing… how could it really fight? AND that explains my question above (what happened to Unohana’s zanpakuto)… of course this does still leave Kenpachi’s unaccounted for BUT maybe Muramasa can’t enter Kenny’s inner world (or at least not reach his zanpakuto) since Kenny can’t…
As cool as it is to have a working theory, the fact that it worked so well makes me less excited about finding out…

Well, i had the wrong idea the whole time. i thought Muramasa really cared about the other Zanpaktou. I didn’t know he was just using them !
I was alsowrong about gramps’ ‘imprisonment’. I thought the barrier was put up by Muramasa or at least his subordinates. Whereas, the whole time it set up by gramps himself!
However, i’m very curious about something; how was Muramasa able to capture gramps whom i believe is the most powerful shinigami (i hope i spelt that right) possessing the most powerful Zankpaktou in all of Seireitei or even soul society? Or didn’t Gramps put up a fight?
Another thing;now that Muramasa has what he wants, what’s he gonna do now?
What’s his ultimate goal now? And the million dollar question- Now that we know what kind of Zanpaktou he is, WHOSE ZANPAKTOU REALLY IS MURAMASA?!
I really have a lot of respect for the writer(s)/organiser(s) of this filarc. They really got me! It’s too hard to predict what’ll happen next!
Another thing, i don’t really take the ‘Shinigami Illustrated Picture Book’ very seriously but is Ishida really going to appear in next week’s ep.,with a ‘long cape’ for that matter? I wonder what exactly he’s going to do there? Till then, i guess.
In conclusion, awesome ep. with a lot of action but less talk! Even the talking parts had some relevance!
ok why did he needed ichigo to “break the barrier” why didnt he just get all the other zanpakutou to do A conbined attack and he had ichigo’s zanpakutou in the biggining ….. what? all the zanpakutou combined cant produce a combined attack stronger than ichigo’s masked heaven shoching lunar fan? + holy cow yururichi can kick ass with her bare hands O_o what about her sword mmmm amagine that <—–<< cant spell for shite !!! also :3 i had first comment i was over the moon about that ^^
as for where kenpachi’s zanpaktou is u wont see it.. he wasnt even in the clearin when they were all released from their owners.. he was off dealin with some hollows as it stated in a previous eps.. anyhow ok eps but i really just want to see muramasa die hes startin to get annoyin ^.^
Jovay, I’m going to hang it out there and guess that Muramasa is Yoruichi’s. What this has to do with Byakuya, i don’t know, but he and Yoruichi have some backstory together, so we’ll probably get to know pretty soon. This could explain why Yoruichi doesn’t carry a zanpakuto anymore…because she just doesn’t like that two-faced douchebag Muramasa! But then again, maybe the story about Yoruichi’s sword is main arc material and the filler writers don’t get to touch it…
