OK. As nice as it was, to see some of the Gotei 13 Court Guard Squad Captains, I must state that this ep. was , er, STRANGE to watch. Even the end credit song and, the Illustrated Shinigami Guide Book were very strange-looking

Guys, listen. I know you were all impatient, but they were given a week off due to the fact it was New Years. Do you know how many breaks they’re given? One. It’s a New Years special. If you want to complain about them taking a week off and then making an episode to not only make up for the lost week, but to also celebrate New Years with all of their fans,than you sir/madam aren’t very considerate.I happen to enjoy fillers. If anything, it brings more fans in. If it was just story line after story line after story line, then the series would’ve ended by now. Just be greatful and glad.
Yeah some plots that veer off the main story are annoying but then its all part of it but if they didn’t put them in then the main story would be blitzed in a short amount of time and then people would see all there is too see and be complaining that its too short
Yeah true they can continue to write new stuff for it and continue it on but having a pause in the main story refreshes things so when that’s all done and dusted your ready for the next round other wise you would just get bored of the show and stop watching altogether
What bugs me to no end is when they add really annoying characters into story lines
nah not a nother filler i know its a new year special but still just start with the main story that all what matters people are getting sick frome so much fillers

Alright, it was silly, but amusing wonderful fun. I laughed at all the weirdness. Lighten up people, enjoy. You can’t have hack and slash, death and drama all the time.
I normally don’t mind watching the fillers, but this one was very lame. It was nice seeing the old characters from 13 Court Guard Squads. Would have thought they would have shown some of the dance at the end, since it was so important. Looking forward to the next episode, and hopefully back to Ichigo training to get his power back.
This is why bleach lost alot of its fan base. gay ass fillers… I’m about to quit watching bleach all together for a few months and skip each filler like I did during the vampire arch thingy bounts or w/e.
A funny thing to note is that kaien’s proverbs are actually the beginnings or ends to real japanese proverbs only to be turned into nonsense when mixed with something else.
You people better get use to the fillers because they are here to stay. Besides if you are a follower of both anime and manga like me, you know fillers are coming because anime is catching up to manga already. I don’t know about you but i prefer to see a filler whether i like it or not than watching NOTHING because they caught up to the manga and have to wait until manga releases more episodes. Think about it and stop complaining.

Great filler! Funny on the first half and plenty of feel goodness for the second half! Happy New Year Bleach! Glad I get to watch something new every week!

I love the manga, and can not wait until they get to show Renji with his new hairstyle -drools- Totally love him. I do not mind fillers, only two of them I have not liked. The bounty one, and the Zanpaktou one (mainly because I do not belive how the zanpaktou looks unless Tite Kubo draws them.)
BUT afar from that! Hope to get more like this one ^.^
And other funny ones..hmm.. maybe they should make a Taicho, Fukutaicho story filler?
I hope no one misunderstood about what i said because I did like this ep it was funny and a little weird and thats what makes bleach so unique and that makes it fun and one of my favs

I Believe its time to return to the main story I mean I love Rukia and the 13 Court Guards but back to the action already seriously its getting old
